So, I had a can of Rust-Oleum Satin Green Apple that I’ve been itching to use.
It has been pretty hot. What you’d call ‘dog days of summer. 😉
To beat the heat we went ‘thrifting’ this weekend. Found a cute shabby desk cubby/organizer. Love the pigeon holes and little drawer. I freshened it up a bit with that Satin Green Apple – just wish I had a better ‘before’ photo. You can get an idea of the wood condition with the image of the back.

Couldn’t pass up these two 1950s wire gym baskets. Rusty, bent and full of oxidized charm. Pool towels, flower arrangements, craft tools . . . Endless possibilities! And . . . who could resist being #1?
Even Saw Man was eyeing this rustic old toolbox. I might store paperbacks in it and set it by my chair. Or . . . use it as an art caddy, a garden tote, a desk organizer – – or use it for its intended purpose! LOL.
What did you do this weekend? Hope it was a good one.
Have a good week! – – Joanne
